Terms of use
Last updated: 31 August 2026 · In force from the launch of the app.
These terms are the agreement between you and Grupo Constructor Vantage, S.A. ("we") for the use of the Cordeo app and the cordeo.app website. By using Cordeo, you accept what is set out here.
1. Who may use Cordeo
- To create an account you must be of legal age.
- Children may use the app under adult supervision, in a profile created by that adult. Whoever manages the account is responsible for the use made by the minors in their care.
- You are responsible for looking after your password. If you believe someone else has entered your account, tell us at soporte@cordeo.app.
2. What we give you
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to use Cordeo for personal and family purposes, on the devices that belong to you. This licence transfers no ownership of anything to you.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, bulk-download, resell or redistribute the content of the app (audio, texts, songs, illustrations).
- Share your account with people outside your family, or sell access to it.
- Attempt to break, decompile or bypass the controls of the app or of the subscription.
- Use Cordeo to harass, deceive or harm anyone, or for any unlawful purpose.
If any of this happens, we may suspend or close the account.
4. Cordeo Premium subscription
- Cordeo has permanently free content and a paid subscription that unlocks the rest.
- The subscription may be offered on a monthly or yearly plan, in an individual or family version. The current price is always shown before any charge, in your local currency.
- If there is a free trial period, its length is stated before you accept. When the trial ends, the subscription is charged automatically unless you cancel beforehand.
- The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period, at the current price, until you cancel.
- If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before it applies and you will be able to cancel.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel whenever you wish. On cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; the next one is not charged.
- If you subscribed inside the app on Android or iPhone, cancellation is done in the subscriptions section of your Google Play or App Store account, and refunds are handled by the store under its own policies.
- If you subscribed by card outside the stores, you can cancel from your account in the app or by writing to soporte@cordeo.app.
- Beyond what applicable law or the store's policy requires, periods already charged are not refundable.
6. Cordeo's content
The songs, devotionals, meditations, illustrations, audio and software of Cordeo are our own work or are used under licence, and are protected by intellectual property law. Cordeo is a trademark pending registration with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) in the name of Grupo Constructor Vantage, S.A.
Biblical texts and traditional prayers come from public domain versions and formulas, or are used with the corresponding authorisation, and are cited with their reference.
Cordeo is a resource for prayer and reading as a family. It does not replace the accompaniment of your faith community, nor pastoral, psychological or medical guidance from a professional.
7. What you contribute
The notes, prayer intentions and profiles you record are yours. We do not publish them, do not show them to other users and do not use them for advertising. We store them only to give them back to you on your devices.
8. Availability of the service
We work to keep the app always available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance, third-party failures or causes beyond our control. We may add, change or withdraw content and features; if a change significantly reduces what you have already paid for, we will tell you.
9. Liability
Cordeo is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights Mexican law grants you as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update them. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page and give notice in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use Cordeo after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Xalapa, Veracruz, without prejudice to the consumer's right to turn to PROFECO, the Mexican consumer protection authority.
